On
October the 12th is the day of the
Virgin of Pilar, who is the patroness of Zaragoza. Therefore, from
6 to 14 October they celebrate
the festival of Pilar in Zaragoza (Aragon).
In addition to a wide cultural activity, in Plaza de Aragon the Federation of Regional and Provincial Houses of Aragon have installed tents to sample the rich cuisine of Aragon.
The Aragon Coeliac Association has contacted some of the organizers to offer products suitable for coeliacs.
You can taste some dishes, beer and typical products gluten-free. One of such products is typical Aragonese migas, made of bread (gluten-free for us) fried in the pan, to which are added other products like eggs, chistorra (a kind of pork sausage) and grapes.
In the association's blog you can find the list of the tents where you can find these products, they warn us not to forget to identify as coeliac.
Qué interesante, tengo un amigo celíaco a quien le va a entusiasmar esta página, te seguiremos muy atentamente. Gracias.
